Recently, Grand Pharma Fuchi Industrial Park has successfully passed the inspection and evaluation by the provincial expert group of Grade C to Grade D, and was formally approved as a Grade D park, marking a major breakthrough in safety management and overall improvement of the park.

Since the release of the Hubei Provincial Safety Committee’s ‘Three-Year Action Programme for Safety Improvement in the Province’s Chemical Parks’, Fuchi Industrial Park has actively responded to the call.
With the strong support of Yangxin County People’s Government, Grand Pharma, together with relevant functional departments of Yangxin County and Fuchi Town Government, quickly set up a task force and fully committed to the creation of Class D park.
In July this year, facing the detailed inspection by the expert group of Provincial Emergency Management Department and Provincial Hazardous Chemicals Association, the park highly cooperated with the expert group, which carried out an all-round and deep investigation on the enterprises in the park around the six core areas of park planning, public works, safety management, chemical safety, fire fighting and emergency response, and information technology and closed management, based on 36 detailed standards.
In addition, the park has increased investment in safety construction, in which the Safety Intelligent Management Intelligent Control Platform was successfully launched at the end of October this year. The platform makes full use of advanced technological means, which greatly improves the park’s safety management efficiency, realises real-time monitoring of the park’s safety conditions and accurate early warning; and the construction of a special car park for hazardous chemicals builds up a solid line of defence for the safety of the park’s logistics.

On 12 November, the park successfully passed the inspection and evaluation by the provincial expert group of C grade to D grade. This achievement is not only a high affirmation of Fuchi Industrial Park’s long-term safety management work, but also a push for the park to move towards a higher quality development stage.
In the future, the park will uphold the concept of safety first and green development, optimise the management mode, improve the service level, and strive to become a green and safe provincial demonstration park, and play a leading role in the province’s chemical parks’ safety improvement and sustainable development.
